IronCyber Defense – Bespoke WordPress Theme

Design and development of “Aegis”, a bespoke theme for the Norwegian cybersecurity firm IronCyber Defense: a serious, technical visual identity derived from the geometry of the company shield, with every section editable from a single control centre in WordPress.

IronCyber Defense works in penetration testing, continuous application security and secure software engineering. Its audience is CTOs and engineering teams, so the design had to feel precise and trustworthy, with no hype.

Design

A visual language taken from the logo’s shield: a crenellated cut and a directional chevron repeated across cards, buttons and dividers.
A navy and red palette, technical typography, and a scroll-driven layout that tells the services story step by step.
Fully responsive and built with accessibility in mind.

Development

A modular theme written from scratch, with no page builder, plus custom post types for services and training courses.
One control centre to edit the copy, images and order of every home-page section.
A journal for technical articles and incident retrospectives, and a request form for technical discovery calls.
